This photograph taken on October 2, 2026 shows a staff passing food orders to Robia, a humanoid robot waitress at The Sicilian restaurant in Karachi. The mechanical waitress is one of two home-grown robots built by Pakistani engineer Syed Osama Aziz, who is bringing a sci-fi reboot to Karachi's storied dining scene with his DIY creations.
